This painting of my daughter, Lindsay, was a bit of an experiment with using a texture medium on the background and hair with watercolor on the skin and oils on the hair, shirt and background. I asked my granddaughter recently which of my paintings is her favorite, and even though there are two of her on my walls, she said the one of her Mom. Makes my heart happy.
